RSVP now: January 29 EdTech Meetup 
Join us on Monday, January 29 at B. New York City from 6-8pm to meet some of the best Dutch Ed Tech companies as well as NYC based Dutch entrepreneurs for a panel with leading Ed Tech investors and stakeholders as well as short pitches by the visiting companies participating in the 2018 Holland Innovation EdTech Bootcamp.

The EdTech Meetup is part of the EdTech Bootcamp and LearnLaunch conference, taking place in New York and Boston. Together with the Holland Innovation Network in Boston, the Consulate General of the Netherlands in New York, Halve Maen organizes an intensive 5-day program for Dutch players in the EdTech ecosystem. Participatings companies in the Bootcamp are: Sowiso, LessonUp, EDIA, DRIEAM, Learnbeat, Cirrus Assessment, Feedbackfruits, Traintool, Study Portals and Brain Fuel.

January 31, Company Day Ambassadors Conference 
The Company day is part of the Ambassadors Conference, which takes places every year at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for all the ambassadors and consul generals worldwide. 
Are you interested in international entrepreneurship or do you want to expand your activities abroad? On January 31, 145 Dutch ambassadors and consul generals will be available to explore your international options. You get the opportunity to ask specific questions about certain countries. 

During the Company day you are able to get a maximum of 4 one-on-one conversation with one of the ambassadors or consul generals. Selection will be made on basis of your motivation. Apply here before Thursday January 18.

The Halve Maen initiative encourages innovators to cross the bridges of soft landing in the US together. By diving into the stories of these front-line doers, we reveal tips and tricks that extend the resources of this network by folds of encouragement and insights.

Highlights
In December Halve Maen and The Next Web welcomed the international entrepeneur community at B. New York City for a head-first dive into workshops and panel discussion navigating topics that all startups struggle with at some point; international readiness, setting up a shop, recruiting and retaining talent, and more.
